For lovers of the "diamonds of gastronomy" our collaboration with the "Truffle Concierge" Giulio has been enriched thanks to a unique trip aboard a vintage car with departure from the Hotel Savoy which winds its way up to Bagno a Ripoli, after having admired the glimpses of Ponte Vecchio, the Lungarno, Piazzale Michelangelo and San Miniato to venture into the Tuscan hills.
Once we reach the estate of Giulio we set off to discover of the secrets of the art of truffle hunting, accompanied by his trusty lagotti. There, the harvest takes place, entering the woods guided by the dogs, in respect of biodiversity plant, so as to guarantee the seasonal regeneration of the truffle species. After the search, head to the kitchen of Giulio's old family mill where he and his partner Francesca will teach you how to prepare traditional dishes using this autumnal delicacy.
